Yoga the Yogi Practice Yogi Priest Swami Shiva Nand Jee sitting in the relax yogi position, on a boat crossing the Ganges sacred river from Varanasi. Every morning before praying, Swami marks his forehead while chanting mantras. The finger paint that he uses to decorate himself is made with ashes from the famous Baba Kinaram Ashram. The red dot in the center is a symbol of fire and marks the third eye. It is the mark of Shiva. Like all true Yogi Priests, Swami venerates Shiva, the god that grants internal power and knowledge.
