President and Founder The time that Jean-Philippe has spent in indigenous communities makes him an expert on cultural preservation and tourism. Devoted to assisting traditional communities, he spends countless hours on Native Planet activities from site photographs and texts to planning and implementing indigenous assistance strategies. Yumi Soule
Vice-President & Project Coordinator Yumi’s extensive experience living and traveling among the people of Asia and Latin America gives her the personal insight necessary for coordinating documentary expeditions, planning ecotours
and organizing village assistance projects. After being the ongoing support
behind the scenes of Native Planet, she now assists J-Philippe with the management of Native Planet.
Elizabeth Farr
Content Manager Liz started as a line editor but soon became senior editor and began assisting with Native Planet’s administration, project management and development. Her editing talent, attention to detail and communication skills, as well as her drive and vision, fit Native Planet perfectly.
Ayan Humbert-Droz
Development Manager Ayan started with us as a researcher within the Indigenous Mapping project and no one was surprised by her meteoric rise to Development Manager! She is genuine, kind, flexible and always ready to help out. A creative and persistent problem solver, Ayan is a key member of our management team.

IT Manager Kris began recently as an IT consultant for Native Planet. His legendary, timely responsiveness to team needs, professional expertise and strong people management skills ensured his promotion to IT Manager. Kris’ advice and hard work are helping us achieve our IT goals in record time!
